Teleskill online Mediation System: description and working principles

Teleskill online Mediation System gives you a live meeting room with specific features dedicated to online alternative dispute resolution.

The mediator assigns a specific room to a room manager providing a personal code to manage the alternative dispute resolution. This code is necessary to enter the related online mediation room.

The online mediation room is open 24 hours a day, accessible by the room manager and other involved people throughout the entire online alternative dispute resolution time.

Teleskill online Mediation System is integrated with all management softwares used by mediation authorities through single sign-on and A.P.I., allowing the single management of the online alternative dispute resolution process and the single sign-on access of the side, without requiring a second log-in.

The room manager, from time to time, calls the online mediation participants giving them a specific user code to enter the room.

Mediator and sides enter the online mediation room at the fixed date and time.

The mediator can talk separately to each side or with both at the same time. Sides can read, share and approve documents, photos or videos and digitally sign meeting minutes.

Auditors can also listen to the online dispute resolution in order to follow the apprenticeship training.

Using Teleskill online Mediation System

Teleskill online Mediation System provides two different room layouts dedicated to the online dispute resolution.

The following lay outs are provided:

  • layout #1:  audio/video discussion and file sharing
  • layout #2:  audio/video discussion and file viewing (meeting minutes or laws)

Audio/video discussion and file viewing

The layout allows audio/visual real time discussion between 5 participants. The mediator’s video is always at the center and there’s a file sharing window which allows, if needed, files uploading and downloading. Each participant can upload, download and share files.

Audio/video discussion and viewing of files (minutes or laws)

This layout allows real time audio/video discussion between the 5 participants. At the same time you can use the file viewer window to share documents. The online mediator can show both sides of a document and let them discuss about that.

Teleskill online Mediation System features

Teleskill online Mediation System supports a special feature dedicated to the live discussion. The mediator can keep himself out and include a side so he can privately settle a deal with his opposite side. He can also start the dispute resolution with all sides every time he needs. Teleskill online Mediation System allows you to keep out and include a single part clicking on his name. When a side is kept out the connection is not disrupted but his audio/video is disabled.

In this way, re-entry, when set by the mediator, is immediate, without requiring any new audio-video setup activity by the participant, who immediately re-enters into the audio-visual dispute resolution.

NOTE: When a user is kept out, the “screen-viewer” and “file-sharing” function is necessarily disabled for the user.

Mediation meetings organisational portal

Users have direct access to the online mediation service from the management software.

Thanks to Teleskill online Mediation System, the mediation body can:

  • assign a mediation room, specifically for the alternative dispute resolution, to a mediator (room manager)
  • receive information on the remaining bookable mediation rooms (if you have chosen the pay per use service)
  • manage appointments and invite participants
  • visualize, for each mediation room and appointment, the users log-in details
  • enter emails of the parties who will receive a call containing a unique and personal direct access link to those who need to participate in order to enter the dedicated room.
